Custom designed Single Storey Duplex Development project for local Perth building company Vecchio Homes WA. Working with a 600m² parcel of land and a 20m frontage in Pearsall, the design brief required a side by side built strata subdivision. Allowing 300m² total site area a lot, each building design consisted of 180m² floor area. A major site characteristic of the block included western elevated views to Lake Goollelal and Yellagonga Regional Park’s nature reserve from the rear of the block. With this in mind a conscience effort was made to position the main living hub to the rear of each design. Large open plan living configurations and the integration of Kitchen servery windows to a covered Alfresco area highlight the main lining quarters. Functionality of each design made it achievable to attain glimpses of the rear view and the iconic Western Australian sunsets that accompany it.
